MicroMBA Online 2022 - STENTRE.NET

主に理系バックグラウンドの大学院生、学部生、ポスドク、若手サイエンティスト・エンジニア等を対象に、MBAレベルのビジネス知識を英語で講義するミニ・プログラムを実施します。
本講義はUCSDとの提携プログラムで、すべてのセッションを英語で行います。
修了者には、早稲田大学ビジネス・ファイナンス研究センターおよびRady School of Management, UCSDの連名による修了証を授与します。

A mini-program, “MicroMBA” will be held for Undergraduates, Graduated students, Ph.D. candidates, Post-Docs, and Junior scientists and engineers who has Science/Technical background.
In this program, lectures on MBA-level knowledge of business will be given.

MicroMBA is a tie-up program with University of California at San Diego, thus all sessions will be held in English.

The Certificate of Completion from Institute for Business and Finance, Waseda University and Rady School of Management, UCSD will be awarded.

1978年東京都生まれ。2000年慶應義塾大学環境情報学部卒業。02年同大学大学院政策・メディア研究科修士課程修了。15年カリフォルニア大学サンディエゴ校にて、博士(経営学)を取得。慶應義塾大学助教・助手、カリフォルニア大学サンディエゴ校講師、スタンフォード大学リサーチアソシエイト、政策研究大学院大学助教授などを経て、17年より現職。カリフォルニア大学サンディエゴ校ビジネススクール客員准教授を兼務するほか、日米の大学において理工・医学分野での人材育成、大学を中心としたエコシステムの創生に携わる。専門は、技術経営、アントレプレナーシップ、イノベーション、科学技術政策など。近著に「イノベーターのためのサイエンスとテクノロジーの経営学」(単著、東洋経済新報社)、「科学的思考トレーニング　意思決定力が飛躍的にアップする25問」 (単著、PHPビジネス新書) 、「『失敗のマネジメント』がイノベーションを生む」(『DIAMONDハーバード・ビジネス・レビュー』2020年3月号掲載)、『東アジアのイノベーション』(共著、作品社)、『グローバル化、デジタル化で教育、社会は変わる』(共著、東信堂)などがある。 https://www.waseda.jp/fcom/wbs/faculty-jp/6029

Associate Professor Kanetaka Maki is based at Waseda Business School and serves as a Visiting Associate Professor at the Rady School of Management, University of California San Diego. In both Japan and the US, he has been actively involved in designing and implementing university innovation ecosystems. He is a key member of many management education programs for STEM background students. He has published books such as “Science, Technology and Entrepreneurship” and “Scientific thinking Training” in Japanese. Lisa Ordóñez
Dean, Stanley and Pauline Foster Endowed Chair, Professor of Management and Organizations

Lisa Ordóñez was appointed Dean of UC San Diego’s Rady School of Management in September 2019. As the School’s second dean, she is transitioning Rady from a start-up to focus on growth, further cementing the school’s global business research prominence and impact as an innovation focused, economic engine within the San Diego business community and beyond. She has brought a renewed emphasis on Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion to the school and has already made great strides in increasing the number of female and underrepresented minority faculty at Rady.Lisa received all three degrees from UC Berkeley: BA in Psychology (1989), MS in Marketing (1992) and PhD in Quantitative Psychology (1994). 早稲田大学政治経済学部卒。ペンシルバニア大学ウォートンスクールMBA修了。監査法人ト－マツ等にて会計監査・企業買収支援・株式公開支援・人材育成などの業務を担当したのち、2002年より早稲田大学で教鞭をとり、2006年より現職。2010年から2011年にかけて米国スタンフォード大学 Visiting Professor。会計や財務といった数字をベースに理論と実務の両面から経営を考える授業やゼミを担当している。国内主要上場企業の監査役、取締役を歴任。学術博士（早稲田大学）。公認会計士。 https://www.waseda.jp/fcom/wbs/faculty-jp/6060

Upon graduation from Waseda University, Professor Nishiyama started his professional career with Tohmatsu & Co., which is now a member firm of Deloitte in 1984. After obtaining MBA from the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania, he performed various kinds of projects such as auditing, IPO consulting, M&A consulting, management control system consulting and training managers in many Japanese companies through Tohmatsu & Co. and his own firm as Japanese CPA. He has taught Accounting and Corporate Finance from perspectives of general management at Waseda Business School since 2002. His current position has begun since 2006.He has been Outside Director and Outside Audit & Supervisory Board Member of larger Japanese listed companies. Experiments and Financial Literacy　(Saturday, March 4)

Anya Samek
Associate Professor of Economics and Strategy

Before joining the Rady School, Samek was an Associate Professor (Research) of Economics at the University of Southern California. She also spent a year as a visiting professor at the University of Chicago Department of Economics.Samek is the recipient of the 2020 Vernon L. Smith Ascending Scholar Prize. She is a Faculty Research Fellow at the National Bureau of Economic Research, an Affiliate of the FAIR Centre at the Norwegian School of Economics and an affiliate of CESR at the University of Southern California.Samek has published over 50 articles in peer reviewed journals and received numerous federal and foundation grants, including from the National Institutes of Health (NIH), the National Science Foundation (NSF), the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), the Templeton Foundation, and the Laura and John Arnold Foundation.Samek earned a Ph.D. in Economics from Purdue University and completed post-doctoral training at the University of Chicago. https://rady.ucsd.edu/faculty-research/faculty/anya-samek.html

Professor Ikegami received Doctor of Business Administration from Hitotsubashi University in 2015. After working for Boston Consulting Group (BCG) Tokyo office, he joined MARS Japan. While he is working for Softbank EC Holdings as a Director of New Business Development, he also served as BOD of several subsidiaries. He also worked for Nissay Capital Co. Ltd., before joining Waseda Business School. His research interest includes corporate strategy, global management, new business development and global leadership. He is a member of international committee of JAIBS (Japan Academy of International Business Studies). Sustainability and Supply Chains　(Saturday, March 11)

Hyoduk Shin
Jimmy Anklesaria Presidential Chair in Innovation and Entrepreneurship, Professor of Innovation Information Technology and Operations

Shin’s research interests include forecast information sharing and investment in supply chain management, competitive strategies under operational constraints, economics of information technology, software and digital goods, release strategies in the motion picture industry and innovation in supply chains.Shin has been published in numerous journals, including Information Systems Research, Operations Research and Manufacturing & Service Operations Management. He won the best paper award of Conference on Information Systems and Technology (2012) for the paper “Cloud Computing: Implications on Software Network Structure and Security Risks” with his co-authors, Terrence August and Marius Niculescu. He is a recipient of a 2011 Management Science Meritorious Service Award and Lieberman Fellowship from Stanford University (2006-2007).Prior to joining the Rady School, Shin was an Assistant Professor at the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University. At Kellogg, he won Chairs’ Core Course Teaching Award.
